SkyeTek’s Professional Services Team provides the following standard and ancillary services to ensure that the implementation and integration of MetaFi is seamless with little to no impact to customer’s existing staff and resources.
MetaFi Standard Implementation
The MetaFi implementation process is designed to be simple and straightforward for customers. Using a ‘turn-key’ implementation model, SkyeTek’s Professional Services staff performs several initial configuration steps allowing customers to focus on their core business before, during and after MetaFi implementation.
Standard Implementation Services include:
- Tag Selection / Inlay Selection Assistance
- Tag Application recommendations
- Reader Selection
- Mobile Phone Selection for MetaFi Agent (as required)
- Selection of single board computer for MetaFi Agent (as required)
- Initial tag and reader testing with customer items/products
- Initial upload and configuration of item/product information
- Initial upload and configuration of user information including roles and access privileges
- Initial configuration of policies
- Initial upload of customer logo
- Loading and configuration of Agent software on single board computer
- Loading and configuration of Agent software on mobile phones
- Eight hours of training at the customer’s location
MetaFi Ancillary Services
MetaFi Professional Services includes a premiere level of service for customers who require application customization, systems integration and/or resources for tag provisioning.
- Item Tagging/Operations Integration: SkyeTek’s professional services team assists customers with item/product tagging by providing consultancy and on-going services in the following areas:
- Parallel processing with Barcodes and RFID
- Transitioning from Barcodes to RFID
- Incorporating RFID tagging into the Manufacturing line
- On-going item/product tagging (services offered at SkyeTek or at the customer site)
- Application Customization: SkyeTek’s professional services team will configure the MetaFi Console to meet customers’ specific look and feel is requirements.
- Integration and Data Mapping: Using MetaFi Server Adapters, SkyeTek’s PS team provides integration, data mapping and single sign-on services to ensure a seamless integration with back-end systems.
- Mobile Application Development: SkyeTek’s professional services team adapts the MetaFi Agent to accommodate custom mobile applications and user interfaces for customers with specific field-service and inventory management requirements.
