Phillip Dignan, Managing Director, Appian Ventures
Phillip is a founding member of Appian and serves on its investment committee. He currently serves on the boards of Skyetek™; Valen Technologies and as an observer with IBSN. Previously, he was a general partner of Roser Ventures, a Boulder, Colorado venture firm where he had the privilege of serving on the board of several firms, including Outlast Technologies, Tian Software, MobileForce and Ischemia Technologies. Earlier in his career, Phillip was a vice president of Salomon Brothers International London in foreign exchange management and a vice president of Salomon Brothers Asia in Tokyo where he headed foreign exchange, corporate and institutional sales, and managed Australasian fixed income sales to central banks, pension funds and corporations. Before joining Salomon, Phillip was a fund manager and futures trader for National Mutual Life in Australia. Phillip holds a B.Economics and B.Economics Honours from Macquarie University in Australia. He is a current member and former director of the Colorado Venture Capital Association.

Kevin Jacques, Partner, Palomar Ventures
Kevin brings 16 years of operational, strategic, and investing experience to Palomar Ventures. His career has traversed widely across the information technology sector, including operating and investing experience in enterprise and infrastructure software, enterprise services, wireless, online consumer commerce and information services. Kevin represents Palomar Ventures at several portfolio companies including Gamma Technologies, SkyeTek, StorSpeed, and Zannel. Prior to joining Palomar, Kevin was the CEO of GlobeRanger, a leading RFID middleware company based in Texas. Before joining GlobeRanger, Kevin spent nearly six years as a partner with Sevin Rosen Funds. While at SRF, Kevin led investments or played an active role with several companies, including TruLogica (acquired by Hewlett Packard), Fuego (acquired by BEA), InnerWireless, Traq Wireless, ExtaNet (fka Clearlinx), and MetaCarta.

Tom Washing, General Partner, Sequel Ventures
Tom is a General Partner for Sequel Ventures Partners in Boulder, Colorado, a venture capital firm specializing in early-stage funding for emerging technology businesses. He has 13 years experience as a corporate and securities lawyer representing technology companies, investment banks, and venture capital firms. Tom was the founding General Partner of venture capital investor Horsley Keogh Associates (now Horsley Bridge). Formerly, Tom was the General Partner of Hill Carman & Washing, one of the leading venture capital firms in the Rocky Mountain region. Tom has a B.A. from Dartmouth College and a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School.

Joseph R. Zell , General Partner, Grotech Capital Group
Joe joined Grotech as a General Partner in 2002. Mr. Zell has an extensive, 20-year operating background in communications and data networking, including nine years with US West Communications (which is now Qwest Communications), where he was instrumental in building US WEST's !NTERPRISE Networking Division and was the president of the division for four years. He was most recently chief executive officer of Convergent Communications. Prior to US WEST, he held a variety of management positions at WilTel, LDXNet, United Technologies Communications, MCI Communications and Xerox Corporation. At Grotech, Mr. Zell focuses on investment opportunities in the communications, networking, software and outsourcing sectors. Mr. Zell currently serves or has served on the following boards: Aztek Networks, BroadSoft, buySAFE, Hatteras Networks, iVivity, SkyeTek, USinternetworking and Ziptronix. Mr. Zell graduated Magna Cum Laude from Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing.
